Happy New Year

Its officially 2020!  As I am writing this I can say that I am confident in what year it is but not as confident in what day it is...

We were fortunate to be able to spend a LOT of time together as a family these past few weeks.  Between the holidays and an awful winter storm that lasted too long!

I was also able to work on my new website!  My goal with the new website was to make it fun and inviting.  I will be updating it on a regular basis with not only new arrivals but new blog posts too!

Today's blog post is going to be all about New Year Resolutions.  I will say that I love to hate them!  I am the type of person who makes a list of resolutions each year and I think that is my problem.  I have so many that I can't focus my time on all of them so I give up.  This year I have three resolutions and I have broke them down into categories.

1.  Family - Have all of my family together at the table 3 nights a week for dinner.  This may seem easy but trust me, as your kids get a older and schedules get busier finding 3 nights a week is going to be challenging.

2.  Personal - I am someone who enjoys working out but since I left my 8-5 job and my schedule is, well... not scheduled... I find myself not getting this accomplished daily like I want.  My goal is to get back on my schedule and get these workouts in before the rest of the family is even awake.  If anyone is looking for a great, home workout program.  Beachbody has been my go to for a year and half now and I love all the workouts you have to choose from!

3.  Work - I have officially had my boutique open for 6 months!  I have learned so much but have so much more to learn.  My goal is to get more active on social media, more LIVE shows so you all can see the clothes in action, and to try to schedule more pop up shops for you all to see our styles in person.

Like I said before, I am someone who could truly go on and on about all the resolutions I would like to accomplish this year but I need to start being realistic. If I could give you one tip it is to find someone that is going to hold you accountable and push you and remind you what your goals are.

So now that I have put these goals in writing and published them for all of you to see..  yikes!  Here I go!  So far workout is done for the day, I will be doing a LIVE show later to announce the winner of our Share campaign, and I already know what I am making for dinner but unfortunately tonight is not going to be the "family" dinner night.  One practice is done at 6 and the other one starts at 6.  Tomorrow night is my goal!

Happy Monday.. oh wait, its Thursday and good luck with your New Year Resolutions!

I completely understand about the resolutions and I just get so excited about the “new start”, even though I know I can start over anytime. I love to make goals and see change. One thing that I am going to try to do this year is instead of lumping all my goals together at the beginning of the year, I am going to focus on a new goal each month or bi-monthly. I think I can tackle them a little better with the break down and not feel so overwhelmed at the vast amount of new or different things I need to do to accomplish my goals. Happy 2020!!!
